Daniel Susnjar (DMA) is a Western Australian drummer specializing in Afro-Peruvian jazz, who has performed and recorded with music legends including Chick Corea, Terence Blanchard, Bobby McFerrin, Dave Grusin, and Steve Miller, to name a few. 

Following on from 5 years of study and performance in the USA, Caribbean islands and Peru, Daniel released his debut album "Su Su Nje" – which was honoured twice at the 2015 Australian Jazz Bell awards.

Daniel won the 2016 WAM award for Best Drummer/Percussionist and for Best Jazz Act, and his composition "Pius Bartosik" won the 2015 WAM Jazz Song of the Year award.

“Moth to a Flame,” his new album featuring world-class Australian, Peruvian and US musicians – including Grammy award-winning trumpeter Brian Lynch – is out now.
